Baseball's Alnaydo Rodriguez Earns Second Straight ECC Player Of The Week Award

Central Islip, N.Y.-For the second straight week, University of Bridgeport senior, designated hitter Alnaydo Rodriguez (Bronx, N.Y.) has been selected as the East Coast Conference Baseball Player of the Week for his outstanding play in games from March 14 through 20, 2016.
Rodriguez continued his onslaught against the opposition's pitching last week hitting for a .421 average with three home runs and 10 RBI. He amassed a 1.000 slugging percentage plus an on-base percentage of .475 in five games on the week. He also drew a pair of walks and stole two bases, On the season, he leads UB in home runs with four and runs batted in with 15.
