142 Purple Knights Listed on Inaugural EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll
49 honorees from fall sports, 35 from the winter sports, and 58 from the spring sports.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The University of Bridgeport put a total of 142 student-athletes on to the first-ever Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST-COMM) Academic Honor Roll announced late last week.
In its debut installment, there were a total of 6,697 student-athletes recognized from EAST-COMM member schools between the fall, winter, and spring academic honor rolls from 34 different schools. Student-athletes on the list needed to have at least sophomore eligibility and a 3.4 cumulative GPA to be nominated.
Bridgeport had 49 honorees from its fall sports, 35 from the winter sports, and 58 from the spring sports.
