Drollinger and Cisse Selected as UB's Purple Knights of the Week (Nov. 11-17)

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Following masterful performances on the court last week, Jaden Drollinger of the University of Bridgeport's volleyball team and Aliou Cisse of the men's basketball squad have been selected as UB's Purple Knights of the Week, for the week ending Nov. 17.

Drollinger, who is a Purple Knight of the Week for the third time this fall, helped Bridgeport to a pair of wins last week. She began the stretch with 51 assists in a 3-1 triumph over Post before dishing out 40 more assists in a 3-1 win over Felician. Drollinger also finished the 2-0 stretch with eight kills, 15 digs and six aces.

Cisse, a Purple Knight of the Week for a second straight time, averaged a team-high 24.5 points per game last week. He poured in 23 in a win over AIC before tallying 26 in a loss at Staten Island on Saturday. Cisse also added nine rebounds and five assists in the two contests while shooting 61.1 percent (22-of-36) from the floor.
