Sarah Santos Earns Second Team All-ECC Honors For Second Consecutive Season

Brookville, N.Y.-Graduate student Sarah Santos (Norwalk, Conn.) earned Second Team All-East Coast Conferene honors for the second consecutive season as she finished in eighth place at the 2011 ECC Cross Country Championships hosted by C.W.  Post on Sunday morning. Sarah covered the 5K course in a time of 20:00.79.  As a team, the UB women took seventh in the eight team field with 158 points.

On the women's side, C.W Post won the event with 56 points followed by St. Thomas Aquinas (65 points) and Dowling (102 points).

The Bridgeport men finished eighth out of eight teams with 201 points.  C.W. Post also won the men's race with 39 points followed by Molloy (53 points) and St. Thomas Aquinas (96 points).
