Softball Falls Twice In Florida On Thursday

Clermont, Fla.-The University of Bridgeport softball team lost two games on Thursday on the team's penultimate day on its Spring Trip to Florida, as the Purple Knights fell to Ohio Dominican, 5-4, and Seton Hill, 6-2.  UB is now 9-4 overall.

Against Ohio Dominican, sophomore Jenna DiLorenzo (Woodbridge, Conn.) had two hits and two RBI, and freshman Samantha Sabor (Plainfield, Ill.), also had two hits.

Versus Seton Hill, freshman Allison Luzzi (East Haven, Conn.) had a pair of base knocks, and senior Meghan O'Leary (Lafayette, N.J.) and sophomore Kamryn Beach (Tampa, Fla.), each had one run batted in.

The UB softball team will close out its Spring Trip to Florida on Friday with games versus Merrimack and Kutztown.
