Akil Pompey, LeRoux Lothian And Habib Sylla Earn Men's Soccer All-ECC Honors

members of the University of Bridgeport men's soccer team earned
spots on the 2009 All-East Coast Men's Soccer Teams that were
announced following the completion of the 2009 ECC Men's Soccer
Championship game on Sunday afternoon.
Senior Akil Pompey, a senior defender from Queens, NY, was named First Team All-ECC.
Two other seniors, forward LeRoux Lothian (Kingston, Jamaica) and midfielder Habib Sylla (Conakry, Guinea) were selected to the All-East Coast Conference Second Team.
The UB men's soccer team finished the 2009 season with a 10-5-3 overall record and finished in a three-way tie for the ECC regular season title with a 5-2-0 conference mark.
