Purple Knights Check In At Number Nine In First NCAA Men's Basketball East Regional Rankings Of The Season

Indianapolis, Indiana-The University of Bridgeport men's basketball team, winners of 10 games in a row and 14 of their last 15 outings, is ranked ninth in the East Region in the first NCAA Regional rankings of the 2012-13 season.  The Purple Knights, who return to the court on Saturday afternoon at St. Thomas Aquinas College, have a 17-8 overall record so far this season.

The NCAA will release two more regional polls on February 27 and March 6 this season.
